Blue Lock Farm Best Units to Invest In

Early versus late priorities for grades, Traits, and placement.

Best Units

Not every Blue Lock Farm footballer deserves Grade Tokens and Trait Tokens. The winning pattern is simple: fill tiles for offline income, identify keepers from your current locker pool, push those keepers toward UR, then chase Midas-class Traits. This page breaks that plan into early and late priorities so you do not bankrupt the farm polishing a unit you will replace after the next locker.

Cross-check mechanical steps in How to Get UR Grade and How to Reroll Traits, and skim the Tier List Hub whenever patches shuffle value. Pool availability is the hard gate—confirm which names your current Blue Lockers can actually drop in the Blue Lockers guide before you crown a chase target.

Investment rules before any name list

  1. Ownership first — only rank units you can actually pull from lockers you own (see Blue Lockers for pool timing).
  2. Placement uptime — a keeper must live on the farm, not in storage.
  3. One project at a time — finish a UR attempt stack on unit A before splitting tokens across five cards.
  4. Trait after grade lane is healthy — mediocre Traits on UR still pay; god Traits on temporary junk do not.
  5. Replace without ego — when a clearly better pool unit arrives, move the investment crown.

These rules beat memorizing a static top ten that ignores your account state.

Early game — Team Z to First Selection energy

Early accounts need cash velocity more than trophy rarity.

Do this

  • Place every usable pull until tiles are full.
  • Redeem Codes immediately for Grade Tokens, Trait Tokens, and potions.
  • Spend cash on crate value, opening speed, and the next locker—not vanity.
  • Pick one standout footballer from your opens as the first Ranking project.

Names to prioritize when they appear early

  • Isagi — strong default identity carry for players who pull him; easy emotional and practical keeper.
  • Bachira — excellent early showcase unit; worth grade attention if he is your best placed attacker fantasy.
  • Nagi — if your locker luck hands him over early, he is a high-interest investment target.
  • Rin — treat as a premium keeper whenever available; do not waste him as a bench trophy.

If none of the headline names appear yet, that is normal. Your best early unit is simply the strongest placed footballer you own today. Push that unit’s grade while the rest of the board stays filled with temporary helpers.

Early Trait policy

Stop on Fortune III or Assassin if tokens are scarce. Save deep Midas/Angelic/Sovereign chases until the unit has proven it will stay after the next locker upgrade. See the Traits Tier List for S–C detail.

Mid game — selective UR grinding

Mid game starts when you can fund Plaza sessions without stalling locker progress.

  • Narrow to two keepers maximum for Grade Token sinks.
  • Prefer Grade Tokens over cash rolls.
  • Use Grade Speed Potions only when a token stack is ready.
  • Begin Infinity Tower routines for Trait Token income.
  • Compare new pulls against your current UR project before switching.

Headline units still matter—Isagi, Bachira, Rin, Nagi—but mid game is also where Charles and mentor-style names like Chris Prince enter conversations if your pool unlocked them. Promote them only if they beat your current placed carries on performance, not fame alone.

Late game — PXG, Ubers, and polish

Late accounts chase higher lockers, patch-specific pools (including Bas Munchen locker notes from update cycles), and economy systems such as the Polishing Furnace once cash is abundant. Investment quality bar rises:

  • Multiple UR placed units beat a single perfect card.
  • Traits should be Midas or better on primary cash units; Angelic/Sovereign on showcase carries.
  • Lavinho and Marc Snuffy become realistic chase targets when Ubers-flavored or late lockers are online.
  • Surplus tokens can lottery for Sovereign without threatening locker money.

Late game still obeys placement math. A glamorous unit left unplaced is cosmetic. Keep the board working offline.

What not to invest in

  • Duplicate weak commons once tiles are full of better options.
  • Units you will replace after a locker you can already almost afford.
  • Trait auto-rolls on ungraded temporary fills.
  • Cash grading that cancels the next locker purchase.

Suggested weekly spending loop

  1. Open lockers and update placements.
  2. Claim dailies and redeem new codes.
  3. Choose the week’s keeper using this page.
  4. Spend Grade Tokens toward UR.
  5. Batch Trait Tokens with auto-stop on S/A results.
  6. Put leftover cash into lockers and farm upgrades.
  7. Check Updates for pool changes.

Best units are the ones that stay on your farm long enough for UR and Midas to matter. Fame helps, but uptime and currency discipline win Blue Lock Farm.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Blue Lock Farm questions.

Who should I grade first in Blue Lock Farm?

Grade your best long-term placed footballer from the current locker pool. Headline names like Isagi, Bachira, Rin, or Nagi are great when available.

Should early players chase Sovereign Traits?

No. Early players should accept Fortune III or Assassin bridges and hunt Midas after the unit is a proven keeper.

When do Lavinho and Marc Snuffy matter?

They matter in late pools when higher lockers are unlocked. Do not stall early progression waiting for them.

Is one UR unit enough?

It is a strong start, but late accounts want multiple UR placed units so offline income compounds across the whole board.
